Condition

Illustration is accurate. Nice model with its original oil gilding (sometimes called « à la grecque ») with expected chips and wear. The structure is solid, with its old straps. Minor chips and dents to the decoration. The leather material worn, crackled and scratched but with its own patina and warm colour. With its original nails to fix the leather cover, used as decorative patterns. Attractive and unusual chair made by one to the most famous menuisier, Louis Delanois, of the neoclassical style.
