le premier, probably by Georges Nicolas Toussaint Augustin, called Augustin Dubourg, vers 1790, rectangulaire à pans coupés, représentant Diane chasseresse, monté en broche dans un cadre en or, non poinçonné, Haut. 3,2cm, 1 1/4 in ; le second, par Jean-François Tourcaty (né 1763), signé Tourcaty et daté 1790, rond, représentant une jeune femme en robe bleue, des fleurs à son col et un noeud bleu dans ses cheveux poudrés, monté dans un cadre en or, probablement 'Elene de Hall' selon l'inscription au revers, non poinçonné

Catalogue Note
Il n'existe presque aucune information sur Jean-François Tourcaty. Né à Paris en 1763 et gendre du sculpteur R.G. Dardel, il était peintre, miniaturiste et graveur. Il reste de lui notamment des gravures montrant les moments forts de la Révolution, tels 'La Constitution française, dédié à Monsieur le Marquis de La Fayette,' 1791 ou 1792, et un portrait de Murat proclamant une diatribre politique, entre 1793 et 1795 (fond de la Bibliothèque Nationale de France). Il se pourrait que Jean-François Tourcaty ait travaillé également sur émail, voir le catalogue du Rijksmuseum illustrant une tabatière en diamants, or et émail, dont le couvercle est orné d'une plaque signée Tourcaty (Reinier Baarsen, Paris 1650-1900, Decorative Arts in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, 2013, cat. 63).
