Catalogue Note

In this season four episode, Homer visits Moe's Tavern one night, and finds out that Moe's business is struggling. To help out Moe, Homer tells the bar owner about a cocktail he had accidentally invented one night, that he calls the 'Flaming Homer.' Curious, Moe makes the drink and serves it to a customer, who loves it. Moe tells the customer that the drink is called a 'Flaming Moe,' much to Homer's chagrin. Moe's Tavern gains popularity because of the drink and becomes the hangout of the band Aerosmith. Homer, feeling betrayed, vows to never return to Moe's Tavern.
