Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The steel is irregularly hammered, due to the artist's working method. There is evidence of very light and unobtrusive surface abrasions and a few small scattered nicks, which is to be expected of a wearable work from this period. There is some light tarnishing, particularly at the knotted wire in the upper corner.
