Condition
This work is in good and sound condition overall. The sculpture shows signs of overall wear and handling, which is inherent to the found nature of the different components. There appears to be active oxidation to the metal washers and steel bars acting as the supports. The surface of the wood elements show signs of chipping and paint loss, which appears inherent to the artist's intentions. The work on paper consists of two different sheets are adhered together with tape. The tape has separated along the edge and there is only one portion about 3 inches long that still adheres the two sheets together. There is an overall undulation to the sheet, which is inherent to the medium and the artist's working method. There are scattered media accretions, creases, and graphite smudges which appear inherent to the artist's working method. There is a minor tear along the left edge approximately 4 inches from the bottom left corner. Unframed.
