Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The edges of the sheet are deckled and there is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method. The whites have discolored slightly with age and the variation in texture appears inherent to the artists’ chosen media. Under very close inspection, there are scattered minor and unobtrusive areas of hairline craquelure in the lime green painted areas with some associated pinpoint spots of loss. There is heavy evidence of foxing and discoloration throughout the verso of the sheet though it does not seem to interfere with the artist's work on the recto. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte intermittently along the top and left edges. Framed under glass.
