Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is very light evidence of wear and handling along the edges and evidence of faint hairline craquelure at the pull margins of the right edge. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. The areas of impasto are all stable and the dried bubbles appear inherent to the artist’s intent and working method. Under very close inspection, some minor drying cracks at the edge of the black form towards the left center, in the blue form at the upper center and in the upper right corner are visible. Under raking light, some very faint and unobtrusive abrasions are visible mostly in the right side of the darker painted areas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
