This work is in fair condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges including some paint losses in the corners and some hairline craquelure at the pull margins. Under close inspection there are some abrasions, faint scratches and spot and drip accretions visible in scattered areas throughout. There is some stable hairline craquelure visible 14¼ inches from the left edge and 5½ inches from the upper edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there are areas that fluoresce darkly 11½ inches from the left edge and 6 ¼ inches from the upper edge, 16 inches from the left edge and 4 inches from the upper edge, in the upper edge of the left half, in the red area and in some sparsely scattered places throughout that appear to have benefitted from restoration.
