Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges of the canvas including some faint hairline craquelure along the right side at the pull margin. The canvas is slightly loose on its stretcher. Under very close inspection, scattered media accretions are visible throughout the canvas, inherent to the artistÂ’s working method. Also very under close inspection, a faint and unobtrusive area of abrasion is visible in the upper left of the orange painted area. In the red-painted area, the pigment appears to have been applied more thickly, resulting in a slight undulation of the canvas. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
