Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the greens are much deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places and undulates very slightly. The vertical edges are deckled. Close inspection reveals a few minor handling creases and some light discolouration towards the extreme outer edges. Extremely close inspection reveals some very light, short, stable and unobtrusive hairline cracks to some of the thicker areas of opaque red and green pigment, and a pinprick-sized media accretion towards the centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
