the deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, freely painted around the exterior in cobalt-blue toes with two scaly five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all amidst fire and ruyi cloud scrolls and above a ruyi band, the interior with a dragon medallion

Condition

This large and impressive bowl is in good overall condition with the exception of an 8mm., wide shallow rim chip with 2cm., associated hairline rim crack, a 5mm., shallow rim chip with associated 3cm., hairline rim crack, a 3.5cm., hairline rim crack, minor glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles, iron spots and small glaze pulls, and light glaze scratches.
