decorated overall with landscape scenes including pagodas and temples within a floral border incorporating birds and dragons, the reverse with butterflies, birds and flowering trees

Condition

Highly decorative eight fold screen. Overall there are small losses, chips and scratches to the lacquer surface and gilt decoration. The decoration has been refreshed in some areas, there is movement along the lines of construction has resulted in age cracks appearing in the surface which appear to have been treated but may benefit from further attention according to taste.
