Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The piece is dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There is a minor loss to the top left acanthus leaf carving on the cresting. There are old restorations to breaks on the carving and there is lifting where there is a gap where the left side carving on the cresting meets the section near the flower basket. The carving is nicely worn to the red bole as visible from the catalogue photograph. The central plate is nicely bevelled. Attractive detail to carving.
