Condition

Late 18th/early 19th century carcass has been cut and shaped at the bottom. Top of carcass has been cut to insert later cylindrical mechanic book shelf. Legs probably later and have been cut and then re-attached for easier shipping. Mounts later. Sun fading to veneer in areas. Top with infill around leather inlay that is now mostly missing on front. Top reveneered and with leather inlay later. Very attractive piece but could benefit from some restoration.
