Condition

The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks due to age and use. The veneer is slightly sunfaded as visible on the illustration. There are some losses to the veneer. The ormolu mounts are original and the handles have been re screwed. The gilding is tarnished and slightly rubbed on exposed areas. The marble top is also period and bears the usual minor scratches. Very nice model with impressive ormolu mounts.
