René Hausman a enchanté les pages de Spirou avec les planches pleines de poésie et de charme de Saki et Zunie. Ici, l’histoire sert de prétexte à une petite leçon de choses. Il est touchant de voir combien cet auteur s’est inspiré de la nature et combien il l’intégrait dans sa création. On admirera par ailleurs la délicatesse du trait et ce visage mi-enfantin mi-mutin de la jolie Zunie. Bel encrage sur les quatre premières et la dernière cases. Quant au milieu de la page, il nécessitait au contraire un dessin gracieux, privilégiant le blanc de la page.

It is touching to see how much the author was inspired by nature and how much he incorporated it into his creation. Equally admirable are the delicacy of line and the half-childish, half-impish face of the pretty Zunie. And the beautiful inking on the first and the final panels. As for the middle of the page, it called instead for a graceful approach to drawing, favouring the white of the page.
