C’est un dessin de couverture réalisé en 1968 pour un hebdomadaire allemand (et ensuite pour la couverture d'un livre de coloriages en France). Ce qui en fait un objet rarissime. Les trois personnages évoluent sur un fond blanc. Ils constituent le trio le plus populaire de la BD. Et dans cette belle illustration en couleurs directes, ils saluent le lecteur dans un bel élan d’enthousiasme ! L’encrage d’Uderzo apparaît ici dans toute sa régularité, au service de la couleur. Du « gros nez » tout en finesse, marque d’un tout grand dessinateur d’humour.

Condition
Suite à la publication dans la revue COMIX réalisée en 1968, l'éditeur allemand avait coupé les parties non utiles (sans dessin) pour intégrer les titres et logos de la couverture. L'original a été restauré dans les règles de l'art mais une différence de texture de papier persiste très légèrement (visible sur la photo). La signature est un bromure. Sinon état parfait.

Catalogue Note
This is a cover drawing made in 1968 for a German weekly (and then used as the cover for a colouring book in France) which makes it a rarity. The three characters evolve on a white background. They make up the most popular trio in French comics. And in this beautiful illustration in direct colours, they greet the reader with a beautiful burst of enthusiasm! Uderzo’s skill with inks appears here in all its consistency, serving the colour. With some "big nose" finesse, the sign of truly great humorous cartoonist.
