the pear-shaped revolving body elaborately enamelled with lotus scrolls against a ruby-red ground, reticulated with three gilt-rimmed cartouches revealing an inner cylindrical body decorated with three figural panels depicting immortals and reserved on a turquoise ground, the slender slightly flared neck and base decorated with further multi-coloured lotus scrolls on a yellow-ground, the splayed foot encircled with blue key-fret, the interior and base enamelled turquoise, the base inscribed in iron-red with an apocryphal six-character Qianlong mark within a white panel, wood stand and old Japanese fitted box

Condition
The vase is in overall good condition. There is some light occasional rubbing to the gilding along the edges or minor wear here and there to the enamels here and there but overall these have been very well preserved. There are gaps and further firing imperfections to the turquoise enamel on the base, characteristic of the period. The old original Japanese box is in good condition. The actual colours are somewhat softer and less contrasted / saturated compared to the catalogue illustration.
