Description

  • jade
carved on one side with a rabbit standing below a tree, the reverse with the shao character in seal script, all below a cusped cresting finely detailed with stylised scrollwork and incisions on both sides, the stone of an even white colour

Condition

The carving is in overall good condition with just minor surface wear. The actual colour is consistent if not slightly warmer compared to the catalogue illustration.
