Condition

Pile generally good, closely shorn 1/10in. with dark browns oxidized to knotheads creating a relief effect in the leopards. Minor areas of vertical foldwear showing spot foundation. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt; should enhance with cleaning. Some moth paths showing spot foundation. Nicks to all corners with some fraying; recommend securing. Sides with original 2-cord selvages now with some fraying and later overcasting. Small losses to outer end guardstripes; partially secured, recommend stabilizing. Cloth hanging tape sewn on reverse on one side. Dense weave, stiff with dirt and now slightly cracking (will enhance with cleaning), unusual design.
