Condition

Pile generally good, 1/8 of an in. browns low to knot heads, scattered areas of foldwear showing knot ties and warps not serious. Sides later overcast. Minor losses to ends. 1/2 in. reweave to lower end. Both ends secured with a blanket stitch. Fuchsine dye in some motifs showing purple on reverse, faded to beige on the face. Supple handle, sound fabric, very good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance with such enquiries.
