Overall measurements: Approximately: from the left 244cm; from the right 247cm; across the top 195cm; across the bottom 194cm. This is an attractive item with interesting design. The pile is generally 1cm in the field, excluding areas within the outlined bear. For example the lower mid-section of the rug, notably the tail and the back feet, where the pile ranges from approx. 1 - 3cm. There is a border of longer pile which is uneven and ranges between 1 - 2cm approximately in length, and is approximately 12cm wide. Overall in very good condition. Some very minor losses in the field, an example can be seen to the right hand side of the bear's nose, and there is some wear to the bottom of the top left paw. There is a curved area of darker wool above the bear's nose. There is a small area approx. 8cm diameter where the wool is hard, this can be found at the top of the bottom right hand quadrant. The sides show some wear, particularly on the right hand side which runs three quarters of the length from the bottom. The rug is very clean and appears lighter in tone than in the printed catalogue. It is in ready to use condition
