Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the richly textured nature of the surface visible in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few tiny and unobtrusive losses to some isolated impasto peaks in places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
