Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals very light wear to the upper two corner tips, and a further isolated spot of wear on the extreme left edge approximately 25cm up from the lower left corner. Visible only when examined under close inspection in raking light, some very light burnishing occurred to the pigment overtime across some of the raised canvas weave towards the left edge. Further close inspection in raking light reveals a very faint diagonal rubmark towards the upper left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
