  • Arabic manuscript on paper, reddish-brown morocco binding, ink, gold
Arabic manuscript on paper, 311 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in black naskh script, catchwords, verses separated by gold florets, surah headings in red ink within polychrome foliate panels, marginal floral sprays, margins ruled in gold, black and red, opening double page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, colophon with en suite decoration, reddish-brown morocco binding with gilt stamped corner pieces and medallions filled with chinoiserie cloud bands and scrolling vines, with flap  

Condition

In very good overall condition, illumination bright and pages clean, binding with some light wear, as viewed.
