Description

text: surah al-maidah (V), part of verse 2 to part of verse 5
Arabic manuscript on buff paper, 14 lines to the page, written in black eastern Kufic script, interlinear Persian translation, verses separated by gold florets, verso with a tear-form marginal device in gold outlined with blue

Condition

In fairly good overall condition, thumbing and wear to lower corner, leaf edges consolidated with modern paper restoration, light staining, calligraphy generally bold, as viewed.
