Description

the rectangular mirror plate surrounded by a punched gilt border with glass rosettes and outer borders with shaped mirror panels and blue glass inserts, the shaped cresting etched with a Doge's coat-of-arms and carved with shell and foliate motifs; rebacked

Condition

In overall good condition. Colour slightly darker overall and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The mirror is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean. Some very minor chips to the gilding which can easily be touched up or left as they do not detract from the piece.
