painted with two large shaped panels of flower sprays on a matt platinum ground, edged in gilt frames with enamelled jewelling, reserved on a blue ground highlighted with dark blue foliate work, with two Bacchus head mounts at the shoulder, and a square foot with chamfered corners, the foot section inscribed in puce Maison Jacquel/ Paul Blot fleur/ rue de la Paix 75, each section with S.71. mark in green, incised CR 707,

A flat chip to the top edge of the foot section has been re-stuck
