Condition

In overall very good conserved condition. Colour less orange more natural and attractive with more contrast than in the catalogue photograph. Also the three frieze drawers and frieze is not as dark as in the photograph and much more harmonious with the rest of thepiece. Old very minor marks and chips to the marble top and the marble top has been restored. Attractive casting to the mounts and detail to the marquetry which has some very minuscule restorations. There has possibly been a patch to the veneer on the left side when facing to the border to the marble top. There has been some internal strengthening to the side panels. There have been restorations to the veneer on the three short drawers.
