Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is brighter in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The yellow areas present some wears and webs of thin hairline cracks, inherent to thin nature of the paint used by the artist. One specific area located 33 cm from the top edge, along the right edge, has resulted into minor paint losses. The lower edge of the canvas presents some minor wears, visible only under very close inspection. Under Ultra Violet light inspection, the yellow area located at the center of the upper edge fluoresces with some small areas of retouching, consistent with the thinly applied paint. This work is in good condition.
