Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper in the original work and the cream background is more uneven. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. A network of stabilized hairline cracks located 35 cm from the lower edge and 20 cm from the right edge is only visible under close inspection. Under Ultra Violet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
