standing and holding the crook and flail, and wearing a close-fitting cloak, beard and atef-crown with large uraeus and fragmentary plumes.

Provenance

Swiss private collection, acquired in the 1970s or earlier (Schuler Auktionen, Zürich, Sale 126: Kunst- und Antiquitätenauktion, September 13th, 2012, no. 1011)

Condition

Imperfections as shown, repaired at the neck, with fill along the break-line. Note fragmentary feathers on crown, and the lower portion of the beard is missing. Dents and abrasion to the face and elsewhere. The figure is firmly attached to the old wood base.
