  • A Hellenistic Marble Head of a Man or God

  • Height 10 1/2 in. 26.7 cm.
turned slightly to his left, with long powerful neck carved for insertion, unruly beard and moustache, full lower lip, and prominent brow, his long hair swept up, back, and covering the ears, the top and back unworked and possibly once completed in stucco.
