A very rare Leica M6 TTL in black chrome with a .58 finder, engraved Dr. Erich Salomon Preis 2002, Reporters sans frontières, serial number 2722954, factory code 10475, manufactured in 2002, Germany; includes box, manual, case, front cap, and strap.

EXC+ (Excellent Plus) - 90-96% of original condition - Lens Glass very clean - Cosmetically may show very slight wear and/or signs of use but only under close inspection.

The Dr. Erich Solomon Award, dedicated to Erich Salomon, a German-born photojournalist who died in Auschwitz on 7 July 1944, is awarded annually for lifetime achievements in photojournalism. In 2002, that award was given to French international non-profit Reporters sans frontières.
