Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Cracks to hide membrane on top of drum, with a small hole. Cracks and losses to pegs holding hide membrane in place. Shallow chip to nose of figure. Other shallow losses. Concentric age cracks to lower part of drum and foot, with some extending into 'legs' and integrally-carved plinth. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, small chips and cracks consistent with age and use. Fine glossy blackened patina.
