Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some wear to the paint in several areas, including to the ship's stern, the boy's ankles. There are nicks and some tarnish to the curtain at the back. There is a scratch to the front of the ship's bow. The tip of the mast is slightly bent. There are a few small chips and some dirt marks to the edges of the marble base.
