Description

in Pan-Slavic taste, of tapering circular form, the sides decorated with amorphic forms on grounds of dark reddish brown and navy blue matt enamel divided by an undulating border, above rounded triangular lobes repoussé with stylised formal flowers and Slavic scrolls, the rim divided by reeds and engraved '19 Januier 1909' and further worn inscription, on four ball part-enamelled feet, the underside of the base engraved 'A. Werth', the matching ladle with gilt bowl and stylised monogram SG, struck K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 91 standard, both with scratched inventory number 17088

Condition

Overall very good condition. With enamel losses to the base of the feet and the ball feet slightly indented into the base.
