Catalogue Note

The Society of St Eugene, a community with the Russian Red Cross, was generously supported by its chairwoman, Her Serene Highness Eugenia Maximilianovna, Duchess of Leuchtenberg (1845-1925). Demonstrating the reach of the society, this example commemorates charitable efforts in Baden.
