formed as a volute krater, on a square base raised on four winged paw feet, the body with fluted spigot, lion's mask spout and ivory tap, the handles chased with leaves and berries and centering on rosettes terminate in serpent's heads, the cover chased with anthemion and palm foliage and with a detachable pinecone finial, front engraved with arms and motto PERSEVERO, fitted with an iron plug holder
