Condition

These prints are in generally excellent condition. In raking light, faint silvering in the dark areas is visible at the edges on many of the prints. Some of the mounts have small, orange-brown deposits of indeterminate nature. The plates are as follows: Cracked Paint, 1952 Broken Glass, 1955 Rock Form, 1960 Village, 1960 Tidal Pool, 1960 - Although this image is typically dated 1960, Weston has dated this print '1961.' Ice Forms, 1955 - Although this image is typically dated 1955, Weston has dated this print '1956.' Garrapata Beach, 1954 Land and Rocks, 1960 - In raking light, a few scattered scratches are visible; two of these appear to break the emulsion intermittently, located in the upper and lower right portions. Texas Desert, 1946 Tree and Rock Wall, 1959 Dune, 1934 - In raking light, a small scratch, not appearing to break the emulsion, is visible in the center portion of the image. Storefront, 1959 - Although this images is typically dated1959, Weston has dated this print '1961.' Crypt, 1956 - In raking light, a deposit of retouching near the right edge of the image is visible. Manufacturer's Trust Bank, 1956 - In raking light, a few tiny scattered impressions, not appearing to break the emulsion, are visible. Window Display, 1954 The white leatherette portfolio case is in generally very good condition. There is some soiling and discoloration on the cover, and the extremities are rubbed and worn.
