Condition
The glue relining is firm and stable. the paint surface has been slightly pressed in the relining process. however, detail remains good and the composition still reads well. there is slight thinness to the browns in the foreground at left side and in tree trunks at upper left. Under UV: can't see much due to the old varnish. there is a small line of retouching in the foreground at lower center; a few here and there in upper portion of the picture and an area of retouching underneath butterfly at upper right.
