Condition

The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is in fair condition with no flaking or loss of paint. There is some interesting underdrawing for a different composition visible along the right edge. The picture is covered by an uneven yellowing vanish which show up under Ultraviolet light. There is a small retouching in the lower left corner, repair to a short vertical scratch above the fence and otherwise just scattered spot retouchings in the figure group and in the fence.
