Condition

The oak panel is uncradled, stable and flat, with slight bevelling on the right and left sides. The paint surface is well- preserved with a recent varnish. There are small scattered retouchings, for example on the door and the peasant's penknife, these are not detectable to the naked eye. This lot is offered in an old gilt, moulded frame.
