Description

  • wood, deer hide
of oval, slightly convex form, encircled by three wooden hoops secured with hide bindings at the lower edge, carved with a naturalistic seal emerging from a circular plaque, wearing a voracious expression, the head with broad open mouth revealing sharp teeth, flaring nostrils and oval eye rims; painted in red, white and black pigments.
