Condition

Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small chips consistent with age and use. Holes worn. Fiber attachments are dry, fragile, and fraying. An area of shallow abrasion, possibly from ritual scraping, to reverse top edge. Very fine rubbed light brown patina with remains of kaolin. Spots of white pigment on reverse.
