Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, flaking and small chips and cracks consistent with age and use. Age cracks, including an open age crack to the front of the body as seen in catalogue photograph; to both sides of the head; and down spine. Surface cavities in proper right arm. Erosion and shallow cavities from insect damage to bottoms of feet. Old chip to proper right nostril, patinated over. Fine layered crusty aged patina. Fixed permanently to modern base.
