The cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 10.96 carats, claw-set between demi-lune diamond shoulders, size 52.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 68900, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 10.96 carats and measuring 13.82 x 11.93 x 7.64mm, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, together with an appendix letter expressing the exceptional quality of this sapphire. Also accompanied by Gübelin report no. 13067099, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 10.96 carats and measuring 13.83 x 11.94 x 7.63mm, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, together with an appendix letter expressing the rarity of unheated sapphires. Stamped PT950 for platinum. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, clean to the naked eye, of velvety appearance; for further information on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.40 carat, on average G - H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 8 grams.
