Description

Designed with scroll, foliate and floral motifs, set with turquoise cabochons and cushion-shaped, circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, length approximately 310mm.

Condition

Turquoise blue and greenish blue with typical inclusions including some matrix, and a few minor chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 45.00 - 50.00 carats, on average H - L colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use, some tarnish consistent with age. Clasp secure; clasp with spring mechanism allowing the choker to stretch by a few millimetres. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 173 grams. Case stamped J & P. Bapst & Fils, Joailliers, 25 Rue du Faub 9 St. Honoré, Paris; exterior cover stamped with the crown of a marquess and the monogram M.C.
