- sapphire, diamonds and platinum
The cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 13.58 carats, set between baguette diamond shoulders, size 53, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77602, stating that the sapphire weighing 13.58 carats, measuring 15.10 x 12.38 x 8.26mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 307159, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indication of thermal enhancement.
French maker's marks. French assay mark and stamped Pt 900 for platinum. Sapphire of strong saturation with typical crystal inclusions, one small surface reaching inclusion below one claw; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Little sign of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 9 grams.
