Suspending an openwork plaque set with a cabochon sapphire and brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, on a similarly set necklace, length approximately 490mm, signed Bulgari, Italian assay mark.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79694, stating that the nineteen sapphires weighing from approximately 3.00 to 18.00 carats, measuring from approximately 9.85 x 7.05 x 4.40mm to 15.40 x 14.90 x 7.20mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Signed Bulgari. Stamped PT950 for platinum, Italian assay marks for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report, the sapphires weigh a total of approximately 120 carats. Sapphires of medium strong saturation, well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few nicks and abrasions, some with polish lines; for further information on the sapphires please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 30.00 - 35.00 carats, G - I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp secure; safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 159 grams.
